One of the Best Night Sky Observation Spots in the USA

When: June 13 – 20, 2020 / June 5 – 12, 2021

Where: Grand Canyon Visitor Center (South Rim) / Grand Canyon Lodge (North Rim), Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon Star Party is a free event hosted by the National Park Service in collaboration with the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association and the Saguaro Astronomy Club of Phoenix. The is a great opportunity to view the night sky with assistance from amateur astronomers. The event begins at sunset, although the best viewing is after 9:00 pm— to see planets, double stars, star clusters, nebulae, and distant galaxies.
