It doesn’t matter where you live in the United States, you are familiar with the ball dropping at midnight in Times Square for New Year’s Eve. Here are the details for that huge celebration, plus four more unusual items that will also be dropping across the country. Happy New Year!

New York, NY – Times Square New Year’s Eve

Times Square is the center of the world’s attention on New Year’s Eve. The first Ball Lowering celebration occurred in 1907, and this tradition is now a universal symbol of welcoming in the New Year. Join the crowd to listen to live music and commentary from two stages and see the 11,000-pound ball on its descent to welcome in 2020.
