Mobile is the birthplace of America’s original Mardi Gras!! The Mobile Mardi Gras Celebration is a family-friendly time of parties, balls, parades, and revelry. The parades start at 10:30am with the Order of Athena, followed by the Knights of Revelry Parade and the King Felix lll Parade. Unique to Mobile, prepare to catch Moon Pies as well as the more traditional beads and trinkets.
Pensacola, Florida
Pensacola Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Priscus Celebration
Start Time: 2:00pm
Location: Downtown Pensacola, FL (Palafox and Garden Streets)
With a rich French history, Pensacola organized one of the first Mardi Gras Celebrations in the United States. Expect the parade to feature decorated floats with costumed Krewes tossing beads and trinkets to the crowd of 100,000.
New Orleans, Louisiana

Location: Uptown New Orleans, LA
The Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras celebration is the climax of the entire Mardi Gras season. The parades begin in Uptown New Orleans with the Krewe of Zulu, followed by the Krewe of Rex, Krewe of Elks Orleans, and Krewe of Crescent City.
We recommend starting early to catch one of the Zulu hand-painted coconuts!
Biloxi, Mississippi
Gulf Coast Carnival Association Mardi Gras Parade

Location: Downtown Biloxi, MS
Biloxi is home of the Mississippi Coast’s oldest and most prestigious Mardi Gras celebration in the state. Arrive at Biloxi City Hall early for the pre-parade activities. There will be over 100 decorated floats traveling along the parade route and no shortage of beads, stuffed animals, cups, doubloons, and other trinkets being tossed into the crowds.
Galveston, Texas

Location: Downtown Galveston, TX (Strand District)
Mardi Gras! Galveston, the third largest Mardi Gras celebration in the United States, is the city’s favorite parade according to the residents of Galveston. Beginning at 6:30pm, the local Krewe event features 50 units, including marching bands. One of the few places that allows you to enjoy the beach, a sunset, and participate in a top-notch Mardi Gras parade.
