Gold Discovery Days is a family friendly celebration reminiscing back to the discovery of gold in 1874 during the Black Hills Expedition. Today, people gather in downtown Custer to enjoy three days of family activities, entertainment, arts & crafts, and food. You will not want to miss the gold nugget hunt, stick horse rodeo, or the bed races!!
