Tour Options
All tours begin at 11:00am and last approximately 3.5 hours, with about 30 minutes at each location. You will visit at least four pizzerias on each tour where you will taste the pizza, tour the kitchens, and do some in-depth pizza analysis.

What to Expect
The tours are designed to visit the pizzerias featured in James Beard Award-winning reporter Steve Dolinsky’s book, “Pizza City, USA: 101 Reasons Why Chicago Is America’s Greatest Pizza Town”. If you were to visit many of the locations midday on your own, you would have to wait in line – not on this tour. The two walking tour options require about one mile of walking from start to finish. You will learn about the history of pizza as well as the Chicago neighborhoods that you pass through on your tour.
