Woodward Canyon Winery is an award-winning winery in the Walla Walla Valley wine-growing region of Washington. Founded in 1981 as one of the first wineries in the area, Woodward Canyon makes some of the best Cabernet in the State. This region has over 100 wineries and continues to increase in popularity.
The winery is nestled in a collection of family farm building surrounded by rolling wheat fields. Walk the beautiful grounds and visit the charming Tasting Room located in a restored 1870’s farmhouse. They are known for producing distinctive, old-world inspired wines with deep Washington roots. They harvest their grapes from their own Woodward Canyon Estate Vineyards, as well as Champoux, Sagemoore, and a few other select vineyards.

Their Tasting Room is open daily from 10am to 5pm, with the last tasting beginning at 4:30 pm. They currently offer two differnet tasting flights, each available for $10, complimentary with any bottle purchase.

Events: The winery does “Pizza Pop-ups” on select dates in the summer. Pizzas are $16 and you can pair them with a tasting or wines by the glass while enjoying their gardens in bloom and a game of corn hole!
Bonus: The small town of Walla Walla has some fantastic restaurants. Try Passatempo Taverna for handmade pasta and rustic Italian cuisine. For entertainment, the town also boasts the longest-running symphony orchestra west of the Mississippi. Close to downtown, the Gesa Power House Theatre is designed after the Blackfriars Theatre used by William Shakespeare. Catch a show after a day of wine tasting.
