Small Town Spotlight: Pismo Beach, California

Jul 23, 2020 | West, Small Town Spotlight

Highlights from the July Newsletter

Pismo Beach, California, is a classic beach town on the Central Coast with a wide sandy beach and a central pier that stretches 1,200 feet into the Pacific Ocean. The beach is an extension of the downtown, allowing beach goers to forget about their cars and spend time at dozens of stores, cafes, and restaurants just off the promenade. Book a surfing lesson at Pismo Beach Surf Academy and afterwards have lunch at Wooly’s Beachside Bar and Grill. If you want to get serious about surfing or just want a cool t-shirt, you’ll find everything you need at Pancho’s Surf Shop, Esteem Surf Co., and Pismo Beach Surf Shop. Book a room at the Inn at the Pier and do it all over again the next day!
