Sunset at Delicate Arch in Arches National Park

Every national park has at least one popular spot that is often crowded, no matter the time of day or year. We can probably all agree that Delicate Arch is that spot in Arches National Park. Considering its popularity, we highly recommend having a good plan, especially if you don’t want dozens or sometimes hundreds of people in your pictures.
While most of America was watching the first half of the Super Bowl this year, we were watching the sun set at Delicate Arch. On this beautiful evening with temperatures in the mid 50s, there were just a few dozen other people with the same idea. After a much easier downhill walk back to the parking lot, we were able to check into the Hoodoo Moab (Curio Collection by Hilton) and watch almost the entire second half of the game at the hotel’s Josie Wyatt’s Grille.
Travel Tip: Utah is the only place we can think of that you can visit three national parks in the same day. To that point, the last three pictures we posted were all taken on the same day (1) Sunrise at Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon (2) Afternoon at Hickman Bridge in Capitol Reef (3) Sunset at Delicate Arch in Arches. Another reason to travel during the less busy off-season!
