Individual tickets to the 2019 tournament will go on sale to the public on Monday, June 3 at 9 a.m. EST.

USTA National Tennis Center

The United States Tennis Association Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, located in Flushing, New York, is the host of the US Tennis Open. The tournament uses 22 courts, including four show courts, to host the event. The centerpiece arena is Arthur Ashe Stadium, which holds almost 24,000 tennis fans and has a retractable roof. Purchasing tickets to this event will allow you to experience the best professional hard-court tennis in the world. Going to a tennis match is a tradition for many New York residents. This is also a major corporate event in New York City, making even early round courtside and evening tickets expensive.

Tickets

August 26th – September 8th is the 2019 US Open Tennis Tournament

Ticket packages can be a little confusing for the first-time visitor to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.Tickets sell out quickly, but there is an active resale market. There are four types of tickets with a guaranteed seat or opportunity to watch other matches with  first-come, first-served privileges. Tickets are available for afternoon matches, evening matches, or special packages that allow you to see the action over multiple days.

If you are a first-time visitor, here are some things to consider:

US Open Grounds Admission is great and budget friendly. You have access to the tennis center and can watch any of the matches at Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand and all outer courts on a first-come, first-served basis. You could also choose to stay in the Food Village and enjoy the matches on the big screens while having lunch or dinner.

Typically, the top-ranked players only play at Arthur Ashe Stadium or Louis Armstrong Stadium and the lowest seeded players take the court in the evenings. This is especially true in the later rounds of the tournament. If you attend a match at either of the large stadiums, you will watch the highest quality tennis, both men’s and women’s.

Our advice is to download the app and have access to all the matches taking place during your visit. Know when your favorite players are practicing on the outer courts and watch them warm up for their match.

Arthur Ashe Kids Day

Leading up to the US Open on August 24th , the facility celebrates Arthur Ashe Kids Day. This is the largest single-day, grassroots tennis and entertainment event in the world. The event includes headlining music acts and today’s best tennis players coming together to celebrate tennis legend and humanitarian Arthur Ashe.

The day features a ticketed Stadium Show inside Arthur Ashe Stadium, as well as a free Grounds Festival at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Food & Beverage

The tennis center offers both premium dining experiences and opportunities to taste regional and specialty cuisine. The Mojito Restaurant & Bar and Champions Bar & Grill are both high-end sit-down restaurants with plenty of televisions around to watch the action. Other options are around the Food Village to grab and go or find a seat to relax and take in the US Open atmosphere.
