Start Thinking About Your Summer Vacation
Attention adventure lovers! The lottery for river access on Recreation.gov opened this week for your chance to be awarded a river permit for rafting, kayaking, and paddling on some of the country’s most renowned public waterways.
The current open lotteries include:
– Green River
– Dinosaur Green and Yampa River
– Hell’s Canyon – Snake River
– Rio Chama
– Rogue River
– Salmon River
– Salt River
– San Juan River
– Selway River
How to Enter
Log onto recreation.gov and choose the lottery or lotteries that you would like to enter. Take note of the application deadline and the date the lottery results will be available. You will receive an email from the website confirming entry into the lottery and then another email if your entry gets chosen or confirming that the lottery process has ended, and you did not win this year.
