If you’ve never tried moonshine before, you should start with Ole Smoky— the most awarded moonshine in the world and the leading craft distiller in the U.S. The moonshine is crafted from a century-old recipe in more than 20 flavors. They have also recently launched a whiskey line, with unconventional flavors like Salty Caramel and Mango Habanero.
The distillery has four Tennessee locations: two locations in Gatlinburg, one in Pigeon Forge, and the newest location in Nashville.
6th & Peabody
In September 2019, Ole Smoky joined forces with the Yee-Haw Brewing Co. to open the 6th & Peabody entertainment complex in the SoBro neighborhood of Nashville. The 30,000 square foot gathering place features indoor and outdoor seating areas, live music, and outdoor games. Visit the tasting areas and two bars to sample 13 varieties of Ole Smoky moonshine and whiskey along with a range of Yee-Haw beer flights and cocktails. There’s also food provided by White Duck Taco and Nashville’s famous Prince’s Hot Chicken.
