Every holiday season, the Detroit Zoo lights up with Wild Nights, a fantastic light display of 5 million LED lights. Trees, buildings, and 280 sculptures (including 230 animal sculptures) are illuminated throughout the front half of the zoo. Walk the grounds and take in the sights while enjoying holiday entertainment and activities.
New this year is the Polar Patio, a decorated outdoor dining area with complimentary food and dessert, hot cocoa, and a cash bar. Only 175 tickets will be sold each night.
Also during Wild Nights, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D will be playing at the Zoo’s theater. You can also purchase tickets to take a spin on the Winter Rink or a ride on the Carousel.
