What’s New at the Zoo: Zoo Atlanta is Open!

Zoo Atlanta, one of the oldest and most respected attractions in Georgia, is a leading zoological park with a long history of engaging and educating guests. Located on 40 acres in Grant Park, the zoo is home to over 1,000 animals from more than 200 species. The variety of wildlife and information available makes each visit to Zoo Atlanta exciting and fun for the entire family.

As you plan your trip through the zoo, a must-see habitat belongs to the Giant Pandas, Lun Lun and Yang Yang, and their twins, Xi Lun and Ya Lun. Zoo Atlanta is one of only three zoos in the United States that you can find this rare species! The Western Lowland Gorilla habitat, located in the Ford African Forest, has also been a major success story. There have been over 20 gorilla births onsite. Say hello to Floyd who turned one earlier this summer! While you are in the African savanna, make sure to find Mumbles, the new southern white rhinoceros.

• $22.99 vs. $25.99 (Seniors 65+)

Hours – Open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with the last admission at 3:30pm.
